This is an annual festival that usually takes place during the LAST Bank Holiday in May. Volunteers from the church and local community come together to put on a wonderful, vibrant and energetic display of flowers following a chosen theme.
The children from Whaplode Primary School fully take part in the displays as well as other local individuals and community groups.
Alongside this we have many varying events held in the Church and Village Hall over the weekend to suit all tastes and ages including church and tower tours. The flower festival is run by volunteers who also run the various stalls ie; Book and puzzle, Bric a Brac, and Produce stalls, as well as Art and Crafts that can be viewed in the Village Hall. In the Church itself refreshments, lunches and teas with wonderful homemade cakes are always available.
